The adage “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” is bad advice when it comes to network infrastructure. In the best-case scenario, agencies relying on outdated infrastructure are simply missing out on recent advances in both networking and security capabilities. In the worst case, they are also running the risk of costly network failures.
These concerns have been heightened by the surge of employees returning to the office, putting more stress on aging equipment, said Tom Van Meter, Senior Director of Sales Engineering for Juniper Networks Federal.
